From the Top (2015)
This is where it all began. Colin’s first “solo” project. Bringing in members of his live band, Charlie Korch (Drums), Darryl Lee (Bass), Justin Cerasiello (Guitar) and Colin went into Reveal Audio Services in the Northern Atlanta suburbs for two days of recording. What came out was a 5 track statement on not only where the band had been, but where it was going. From scorching guitars, infectious rhythms, and gritty vocals, From the Top announced Colin onto the music scene.
Long Time Coming (2021)
After the successful release of 2015’s “From the Top” Colin went into his own built studio to begin writing his first full length LP. Partnering with long time friend and Co-Conspirator Joel Edwards, the pair began writing the demos for what would become Long Time Coming. Bringing in frequent CAB collaborators Charlie Korch (Drums) and Darryl Lee (Bass), the group laid down the foundation of the ten songs for the new record. Knowing they wanted to explore new sonic territory, they began bringing in other players, Including Manny Jimenez on guitar, Mitch McCray on Trumpet, Chris Cermak on Trombone, and Kevin Carwile on Saxaphone. Kevin also assisted with arranging all of the horn tracks on the record. Mike Boutte of SoundHouse was kind enough to offer his brilliant recording space for tracking all vocals, providing that intangible element that took the tracks to another level. Once tracking was done, Colin took the raw tracks back to trusted engineer David Leonard at Reveal Audio Services for mixing and mastering. The finished products is not only a nod to Colin’s past, steeped in the blues and rock and roll, It is also a statement as to his musical future, now rooted in Central PA.
