Colin “Deuce” Brown - Drums, Hand Percussion, Vocals

Colin Brown hails from Baltimore, MD. He initially joined the trio along side John Gladman and Colin Alvarez, eventually solidifying himself as the drummer of CAB. “Deuce” has been defined by his sheer dedication to the craft. Coming from humble beginnings as a tradesman, Colin purchased his first acoustic kit at age 18 with his first full 40 hour paycheck. His practice schedule would quickly become 2–4 hour long sessions daily. Colin would eventually go on to study under William “Sarge” Elliot, who is currently an active drummer in the United States Army Field Band, and the head of the percussion department at Essex Community College. Colin studied percussion and focused in areas such as Afro-Cuban, jazz, big band and African polyrhythm. His influences range from the thunderous John Bonham and Ginger Baker to the groove pioneering Jeff Porcaro, as well as jazz legends Buddy Rich, Joe Morello, and Gene Krupa. Outside of music, Colin is a hard working IBEW electrician and loving father, who enjoys spending time with his family and playing ice hockey with friends
